Eläköön Folk! - Streams 20.2.2021 from Tampere, Finland
One of the most acclaimed artists in contemporary Finnish folk music, Maria Kalaniemi and Eero Grundström take their listeners to a musical journey full of emotions. Masters in their own instruments, Eero and Maria are roaming the paths of mielo (the mind) in which the most sensitive emotions melt into rumbling soundscapes. The music is all about wandering in the forest, the waters, in sunrise and sunset. Each piece has a story of its own and each listener can imagine them as they like.
